| • Haski, face paralysis : |
|
|
Haski, 10 years gelding has a tear-gland problem. His right eye is half closed and gets drier and drier. There’s a cornea ulcer, the eye whitens and eyesight is compromised. This occured suddenly about two months ago. The vet said it was a face paralysis and wasn’t optimistic about the future. Face paralysis is very rare for a horse. His owner puts artificial tear drops twice a day to hydrate the eye with a treatment for ulcer and, keeps him in. His right ear and right side of the mouth sag and have a lack of tonicity. He has difficulties in chewing. |
Sat. 5th
of March, I do a cranial osteopathy session.
Sun. 6th of March, I call
the owner. She’s happy to see a real change. His horse’s eye is starting
blinking and is more mobile.
Wed. 9th of March, I do
cranial osteopathy again.
Sat. 19th of March, I check
my work.
Sun. 20th of March, after
calling the owner we decide to contact the vet. After his visit, he suggests to
put the horse back to yard. He can see that the facial paralysis is off and the
horse has recovererd.
Osteopathy has a link with every place of the horse’s body, with the skull or suffering organs as well.
The owner’s
wink: " I really thought my
horse’s eye was condemmed but owing to soft manipulations, Hasky gradually
recovered eye sight and facial symetry. Today it’s only a bad memory. He has
entirely recovered, even his ear which has sagged for a longtime.
Great thanks to Alexandra Morel. "
